Translators and language professionals are often rather secretive about their rates. This is largely due to the EU regulations on price fixing. Nonetheless, I'll try to be as transparent as possible about mine.

For editing/proofreading I generally charge an hourly rate of €38 p/h. Being a translator at heart, I like to work in close collaboration with my writers to ensure the Dutch (or indeed the English) version still sounds like you on every single page.

No two texts are the same. That's why being a creative translator is never boring. This does mean that my pricing for translation work may vary from €0,10 to €0,22 p/w, depending on the complexity of the text. Get in touch to discuss what works best within your available budget.
